Santa Barbara County Redistricting - A Call to Action
 
As you may know, Santa Barbara County redistricting is underway. There have been numerous public sessions that resulted in members of the public submitting 16 redistricting proposals. They can be found at this link: http://www.countyofsb.org/ceo/redistricting.aspx?id=31910
 
Redistricting is like “playing for all the marbles.” How we redistrict will affect all county elections and policies for the next decade.

SB CAN "Movies With a Message" Night

The Santa Barbara County Action Network in association with Santa Barbara Village and the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District is pleased to offer an evening on "Senior Options" featuring a viewing of the Oscar winning film "Harry and Tonto" followed by a panel/group discussion. Actor Art Carney took home his Best Actor Academy Award in 1974 in director Paul Mazursky's film about an aging New Yorker who travels across country with his cat, Tonto, to start a new life. Admission is free. Please park on street. Our panel will include local experts on transportation services.
