To Kill a Mockingbird

Hi all,

You're invited on Wednesday, September 14 –
please forward to friends you think might be interested:

The Santa Barbara County Action Network's Movie With a Message for September is the 1962 Gregory Peck classic, "To Kill a Mockingbird."

Please join us to watch the film and then participate in a short group discussion of the social justice message it delivers about divisive ethnic and class prejudice, then and now.

When: Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: MTD Public Meeting Room, 550 Olive Street near corner of Haley – parking on street

The Santa Barbara County Action Network is a countywide nonprofit organization focusing primarily on environmental and social justice issues involving Housing, Open space and Transportation. We present monthly "Movies With a Message" to encourage community conversation about important issues. Special thanks to the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District's Kate Schwab for sponsoring our monthly movie nights.
