1. Pacific Coast Energy’s proposed Orcutt oil project before Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, October 11

On Tuesday, October 11 the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors will consider whether to uphold or reverse the Planning Commission's denial of the Orcutt Hill oil project proposed by Pacific Coast Energy. Please ask your county supervisors to uphold the denial. The staff report gives clear reasons why the denial should be upheld, BUT the supervisors need to hear from YOU at the hearing. PLEASE attend and make your voice heard! It is the only item scheduled for discussion that day. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. in the Betteravia Government Center, 511 E. Lakeside Parkway, Santa Maria. Testimony can also be given by using the remote video testimony system located at the County Administration Building, Board Hearing Room, Fourth Floor, 105 East Anapamu Street, in Santa Barbara
