Phillips 66 Crude Oil Rail Terminal Tuesday at BOS

Santa Barbara County Action Network
March 6, 2017

IMPORTANT:

Tuesday, March 7, the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors will consider renewing its opposition to the Phillips 66 Crude-Oil Rail Terminal project in Nipomo. We urge you to testify--either in Santa Barbara or remotely in Santa Maria--in favor of the recommended action, namely to authorize a letter to be sent to San Luis Obispo County urging denial of the rail terminal project. This is the first item on the agenda, after the administrative agenda, so be there early. The meeting starts at 9 a.m.

ALSO IMPORTANT: We urge you will to testify before the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors, urging denial of this project. Our current information is that you will need to be there on Monday, March 13, at 9 AM, to sign up to speak, even though the hearing may last several days. Your support is needed to encourage the Board of Supervisors to uphold the Planning Commission's denial of the project.
