SBCAN Green Team

The Central Coast Green Team encourages healthy environmental stewardship on the Central Coast of California.

We have created an Edible Landscaping Demonstration Garden at the Santa Maria Community Garden site at Alice Trefts Park, 910 S. Oakwood Drive in Santa Maria.

We are taking action to encourage eating of local, organically-grown food. We hope you will join us.

We have "fun days" at the garden the last Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. We plant vegetables and do some light weeding. Please mark your calendar for the upcoming gardening days.

Anyone who comes to a gardening day can have free starter vegetable plants provided by Plantel Nurseries.

Please like us at Facebook.com/CentralCoastGreenTeam to be notified of upcoming events, and subscribe to SBCAN's email list at www.sbcan.org/sign_up to be notified of all of SBCAN's events.

Leo Espinoza leads the Green Team. Contact him at greenteam@sbcan.org for more information.
