The Isla Vista Food Cooperative is a consumer cooperative that began as a food hub in Isla Vista in the 1970s and grew into a storefront that has been an anchor for food access in the community for over 50 years. Students depend on the co-op to shop for local and fresh foods and to reduce their carbon footprint. |
