The actions of the Trump gestapo in Minneapolis are horrific. The public murder of an American who was simply trying to get away from the masked secret police deserves your abject outrage.
The innocent victim, Renee Nicole Good:
“Renee was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known,” she said. “She was extremely compassionate. She’s taken care of people all her life. She was loving, forgiving and affectionate. She was an amazing human being.”

MESSAGE FROM INDIVISIBLE TEAM (NATIONAL)
WHY WE’RE MOBILIZING
On Wednesday, January 7th, an American citizen, Renee Nicole Good, was killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.
Indivisible, MoveOn, the American Civil Liberties Union, Voto Latino, United We Dream, 50501, and the Disappeared in America Campaign of the Not Above the Law coalition, and a broad coalition of groups across the country are calling for a coordinated ICE Out For Good Weekend of Action on Saturday, January 10th, and Sunday, January 11th, to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions. Timing: Noon-2:00 pm local time preferred; however, plan what works for your local community. All events should take place during the day, and be concluded and dispersed before dark.
All actions under this banner are nonviolent and lawful, community-led, and grounded in moral witness, public accountability, and collective care.
ICE OUT for GOOD WEEKEND OF ACTION GOALS
The ICE OUT for GOOD coalition goals are to:
- Honor and humanize the lives taken by ICE
- Demand accountability, transparency, and immediate investigation into the killing of Renee Nicole Good
- Expose the broader pattern of ICE violence–including the 30+ lives lost in ICE detention in 2025
- Call for ICE to leave our communities
- Build public pressure on elected officials and federal agencies
- Create space for grief, solidarity, and collective action
- Strengthen local connections and neighborhood response systems
OUR MESSAGE
▶️ We are outraged by the killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE. She was a 37 year old wife and mother of three children who loved to sing and studied creative writing and she was shot in the face by an ICE agent. We grieve her death and the deaths of all those killed in ICE detention.
▶️ ICE has been escalating its cruel deployments into our communities. This recent killing is not an isolated incident, but the devastating and predictable result of ICE’s lawless operations and President Trump's abuse of power.
▶️ ICE and CBP have endangered our communities. Our neighbors fear for their livelihoods and their lives, and our communities are less safe. We won't stand for it.
▶️ We demand accountability for the killing and an end to ICE and CBP raids. We will not sit by while violence goes unanswered and our communities are terrorized.
We will meet ICE’s violence with steadfast nonviolence and lawful protest.
We encourage events to center solidarity with individuals and communities already impacted by ICE violence. Including the names of individuals killed by ICE in chants, speeches, and signs highlights and humanizes the toll ICE violence takes on our communities. While there currently exists no comprehensive database of lives taken by ICE, there are several stories we recommend amplifying:
