Please join us for a combined Santa Barbara County Action Network Roundtable on Friday, March 8 at noon. This roundtable focuses on thecounty’s new housing element.
Our two speakers are Alex Tuttle, who leads the Long Range Planning Division of the County Planning Department, and Dianne Black, who recently retired after long service as a county planner and now active with the League of Women Voters.
They will help us navigate the County’s planning process going forward as well as the process of selecting sites for upzoning, the prospects for affordable housing outcomes, the meaning and effects of ‘builders remedy’—and how advocates for affordable housing can effectively participate.
