We hope you will speak up at a public meeting Thursday, Sept. 29 to make sure that entry points for the Santa Maria River Levee Trail are included when the Bonita School Road bridge is replaced.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation on the proposed bridge replacement at 6:50 p.m.
The meeting is at Bonita Elementary School at 2715 W. Main Street, Santa Maria.
It is important that there are advocates at the meeting that speak in favor of the trail so that the bridge is built with an entry/exit point for the trail in mind.
Please attend the meeting if you can and invite others who are in favor of the trail.
