CEC has an open position right now for a Climate Justice Fellow to support work on the CARB Guadalupe Community Air Project. A description and link to the full job posting are below. Please share in your networks and/or directly with anyone you think may be interested!
CEC is seeking a Guadalupe-based youth who wants to learn about air quality, pollution, pesticides and data collection, and help share information to community members who are interested in learning about and advocating around our air.
The Climate Justice Fellow will work with CEC’s Climate Justice team and our technical partner Blue Tomorrow to support the CARB Guadalupe Community Air Project. This project involves community-scale air quality monitoring, bilingual education, and community engagement in Guadalupe, CA and adjoining areas of the Santa Maria Valley.
The purpose of the project is to develop solutions with local communities that will reduce people’s exposure to air pollution, wildfire smoke, and pesticides.
