Women's March Santa Maria Valley invites you to join them on Saturday:

On Saturday, Oct. 2 in all 50 states, women and their allies will march for reproductive justice.

Women and their allies who believe access to reproductive rights must be accessible to all will protest the unconstitutional Texas ban on abortions and the Supreme Court’s refusal to stop the ban.

Meet at Santa Maria City Hall, 110 E. Cook St., (corner of Broadway and Cook) on Oct. 2.

  • 1 pm Sign Making
  • 2 pm Brief Remarks
  • 2:30 pm Sign Holding and Peaceful Sidewalk March to Broadway and Main

Join the Women’s March – Santa Maria Valley on Oct. 2 at the Santa Maria City Hall to rally and march. It takes courage to stand up and speak out, but as our past marches have shown, we have power when we come together. And just as Covid-19 exposed racial health care inequities, we know these barriers have the greatest impact on Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and low-wealth people in our community.

In 2017, millions of women and their allies marched in all 50 states to protest the Trump Administration’s attack on women’s rights in what became the largest single day of protest in our nation’s history.

On Oct. 2, before the Supreme Court reconvenes, Women March teams across our nation will again take to the streets to protest this unconstitutional law.

Please share the attached with your social networks in support of our event. Thank you.

COVID-19 Precautions: To best protect all participants at our event, masks and social distancing are required, vaccination is recommended. Masks and hand-sanitizer will be provided at the rally location.
